Heather Meeder

Field and Goalie Coach

Storm Chasers proudly welcomes Coach Heather for the fall/winter indoor season for 2021.  Heather grew up in Baltimore County and went to Notre Dame Prep in Towson, MD where she started playing field hockey in 6th grade as a Goalkeeper. In high school, Heather was the starting Varsity Goalkeeper for three years, served as captain her senior year, and was named IAAM All-Conference player.

Heather graduated from Dickinson College in 2020 as an international business and management major with minors in French and Economics where she played as the starting goalie at the DIII level. She was named NFHCA National Academic Squad and Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll all four years. She was elected player of the week for the centennial conference for four consecutive years and led her team to the semi-finals for three of four years with a career save average of .777%. At Dickinson, Heather served as the captain for three years, president of the student-athlete advisory committee, and ran clinics for high school and middle school students year-round.

Heather is so excited to be coaching this fall. She looks forward to fostering a culture of hard work, sportsmanship, and love for the game and looks forward to a fun-filled season!
