Christine Tomasic

Christine joined the Storm Chaser family in the summer of 2020.  She is thrilled to have an opportunity to reignite her passion for field hockey! Christine started playing field hockey in high school, where she played forward and midfield at Seton Keough. She played on the 2012 IAAM championship field hockey team and was captain her senior year. Christine also captained the varsity lacrosse team and was named MVP and IAAM All-Conference player.

She went on to attend Catholic University of America in Washington, DC where she studied electrical engineering and earned her Bachelor's degree in May 2018. She became involved with teaching group fitness classes where she was able to create and design her own high-intensity interval training circuits that encouraged and motivated all levels of people from athletes to casual gym-goers. With no club field hockey team at CUA, Christine decided to play on the club ultimate frisbee team where she served as President and captain and led the team to D-III Nationals her junior and senior year. She was named USAU 1st Team All-Region junior and senior year as well as MVP her senior year. Christine continues to play club frisbee in her spare time and enjoys researching the best training regimen, injury prevention, and nutrition for athletes.

Christine is so excited to be a part of Storm Chasers Field Hockey Club and share her knowledge of fitness, sports, and teamwork, while most importantly- having fun!
